General conditions

Included in the price

VAT and fees included.
Grace period of 2 hours from the time of collection.
Unlimited mileage.
Vehicle theft coverage.
Personal Injury Assistance (PAI).
Damage coverage without excess.
Second driver.

This coverage includes damage to windows, tires, rims, and mirrors. In the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle, it is mandatory that the client fill out an accident/damage report and deliver it to our office. Likewise, in case of theft of the vehicle, the client is obliged to report it to the Police and deliver the complaint to our office.

Any accident or damage to the vehicle that is not notified will be interpreted as negligence on the part of the client and the client may incur additional expenses.

The insurance arranged by the lessor covers the lessee and drivers authorized in this contract, against civil liability (damages to third parties) in the amount of seventy million euros (70,000,000.-€).

Not included in the price and considered extras

“Young/senior driver” insurance for drivers less than 23 and older than 73 years of age: €5/day
Any Navigator-type accessory, child seats, etc. whose prices are available at the time of booking.

They are not covered by insurance

And therefore the following cases of loss or damage will be borne by the client:

Lost or damaged keys
Fuel error
Towing service (Only when the client incurs negligence not covered by insurance.)
Clutch damage
Lost/damaged Antenna

Credit cards

VISA, Mastercard credit cards are accepted.

Assistance

24 hours, 365 days a year.

Fuel policy

Delivery with at least ¼ of the deposit, and the client has to return the same. If the customer does not return the same deposit, he will be charged €20, apart from the difference in fuel, for refueling costs.

Abandonment of the vehicle

Clients who leave the vehicles in a place other than the one agreed in the rental contract will be responsible for the costs generated by the breach of the contract. In addition, apart from the daily rental rate, a daily charge of 30.25 Euros (VAT included) will be applied as a penalty.

Restrictions

Vehicles cannot be taken abroad or between islands.
Clients will have to provide us with a local address (flat, apartment, villa, hotel, etc.)
The minimum age of the driver is 21 years old, with a driving license that is more than 12 months old
In the event that the reserved vehicle category is not available at the time of collection, a higher category will be provided at no additional cost.
The insurance does not cover, in any case, accidents and damages caused by driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication or any other substance that reduces the driver's ability, as well as when the driver is not authorized to drive the leased vehicle or even if it is, the accident occurs in breach of the provisions of the contract or the elementary rules of circulation.
The transport of goods or animals can only be with the express consent of Rent a Car Kurt SL. Failure to comply with these Regulations may entail special cleaning, at a cost of up to €95 to be paid by the client.
Smoking is prohibited in all cars in our fleet. Failure to comply with this rule may result in additional charges for the client of up to €150.

Standard or extreme cleaning

The rental price includes a standard cleaning of the vehicle, however, if the vehicle is returned in an extremely dirty state, Rent a Car Kurt SL will be forced to charge €150 for special cleaning.

Booking cancellation

FREE Cancelation. We appreciate a notice of at least 24 hours before the reservation.

Late return of the vehicle

If the vehicle is returned later than the date agreed in the rental contract, the insurance will be invalidated and the client will be responsible for the payment of €30.25 per day (VAT included). In addition to this payment, the client will
also be responsible for paying the daily rental fee.
